Family activities
Beacons Club
Beacons Club is a Sunday School for children aged 4-12, while parents worship at the 10.30am service.
Time: 10.15am every Sunday during term time (apart from second Sunday in the month)

“Bring the Family” Service and Tea
A friendly and informal welcome to church for children and their families.

Hobbies and social activities
Parish Church Choir
The Parish Church Choir sings at the 10.30am service on Sundays, and occasionally for weddings and funerals. New members are welcome regardless of age.

Mother’s Union
The Mothers’ Union is a Christian organisation which promotes the well-being of families worldwide. Sections of the Union in Ringwood meet regularly both in the afternoon and evening. The Union meets socially, and supports families both locally and overseas.

Church bell ringing
Bell-ringing is a great English tradition. At the Parish Church there is a good peal of eight bells, which are rung on Sundays, for weddings, special services — and sometimes just for fun.
New members are always welcome. If you are fit enough to climb the spiral staircase and tall enough to reach the ropes, this may well be for you!
Time: Bell practice takes place on Wednesday evenings at 8.00pm.

Handbell ringing
For something slightly less strenuous than church bells, try the handbells. The Ringwood Church Handbell Ringers practice weekly and play regularly at at organised events.

Men’s Group
An opportunity for men of the parish to meet monthly in the evening (often in a pub) for chat, discussion and fellowship.

Community groups
Poulner Players
Poulner Players is a long-running amateur dramatic society which presents three productions annually: a pantomime or musical during the February half-term, a play during the summer half-term and a more meaty play in August.
Anyone interested in theatre is welcome to join, whether to tread the boards, to help with costumes and make-up, or to build sets and so on.

Coffee morning
Coffee is served to the public every week on market day, where visitors will also find a card and gift stall. An ideal opportunity to rest after a busy morning’s shopping!
Time: From 10am every Wednesday

Ringwood Carers’ Group
Carers (with or without their ‘cared-for’) can drop in for a chat and helpful information from professionals every month.
The Group is hosted by members of Churches Together in Ringwood & District.
Time: Second Thursday morning of the month

Study and prayer
Study groups
The Parish of Ringwood offers a range of study groups. Some are discussion-based, some learn more about the Sunday readings, and others explore the Christian faith from a beginner’s level.

Julian meetings
A Julian Meeting is a small group of people who meet regularly for silent contemplative prayer in the Christian tradition. Ringwood Julian Meetings offer a short introduction, silence together in the presence of God and a cup of tea.

Prayer Breakfast
Prayer Breakfasts offer a chance to start the weekend in contemplation and prayer.
